When i decided to get out I was coming off of a 13 month Afghan deployment, and there were "things I wanted to accomplish" like finish college and shit...Mannn i tell you what, my 1sg was right. he was always telling me that youll miss it, miss the excitement. He was right. College blows, I do well, but its borign as hell....Work blows (although i get paid to drink and check id's). Your heart will never beat as fast as it did during some of those times...sick enough, you end up spending the rest of your life trying to chase the feelings your trying to put behind you...strange really. Fast women, fast BIKES...its all fun, but it falls short every time...Do yourself a favor, and hold onto it for as long as they will let you.
