I purchased a new light bar from Honda for my 2005 Honda Shadow Aero 750. I just don't know how to adjust them vertically. Left and Right adjustment is easy but the lights shine in the trees. Can anyone help.

Okay, this is the 2 piece "light bar"? Just making sure because there is a different set of aftermarket lights with a bar that installs with it.

I have the Hondaline windshield which drops the bar for the turn signals down slightly.

Have you tried loosening the bolt under the lights and retightening...you really shouldn't need to adjust vertically. That would be the only adjustment you could make that I'm aware of. Hopefully nothing was bent when you bought it.

Did you get it figured out? How do you like that light bar? I'm still trying to decide between the hond and cobra bar.... Any opinions?

I'll try loosening and tighten the nut on the bottom. Thanks for the help. I adjusted them by bending the bracket down. Now they are lined up with headlight.

Shadow Junkie,
I bought the cobra bar last year. When I went to install it, it would not clear my windshield. :madani: After I got around that issue, I found the new turn signal location made them hit the crash bar whenturning. :furious2: :furious2: :furious2: Never did finish putting the piece of shit on.
If anyone is interested, I'll make a deal on it.

Which crash bars do you have on? I have Linby's so it might not be an issue for me...also have the Hondaline windshield.

Too bad it didn't work for you. :thumbsdow

I beleive my crashbar is M/C, don't remember for sure.
Don't think it would be an issue with hondaline windshied or lindy crashbar.

I got the light beams out of the tree tops. I bent down both with my hands and they have stayed that way.

I had to raise windshield and cut down top of windshield so the Hondaline lights would clear.

to me they're all the same shit just pick the one you like the most, i have the cobra and ive never had any issues with it except for the jackasses at the dealer connected it to the high beam only and they didnt crush the connectors on the wire that go to the light bar switch and the vibration from the road shooked them lose then, i had no lights on the high way other than the head light, but i fixed it ,other than that it works great, if you get one don't waste your money, put it on yourself

Make sure you wire up a relay and not tie directly into the low beams or high beams. This will add alot of current to the already taxed starter switch.

Hey Gonzo ! I got my wiring kit yesterday. Nice work! It saved me having to dig up all the pieces and string 'em together. Thanks man, my Ace and it's light bar are now wired up correctly.
