tight fit gas cap

has anyone bought the flush mount gas cap yet? iam having a problem fitting it into the tank. i called the guy at looney tunes seats, and he said the last batch of caps were a hair to small in size.just a hair.iam thinking of taking some 400grit and just sanding the sleeve until it just fits.has anyone had this problem yet?any input would be greatfull. thanks, 1badd750 .

I think AirportFF is the only one on this forum to try them yet. But I don't think he's tried it in Susan's tank yet. I'm sure he'll chime in and let you know how he made out.

just got a replacement cap, and this one slid in.KILLER LOOKING!!!!!!THE FIRST ONE I GOT WAS A BAD BATCH OR SOMETHING.I WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM AS A MUST HAVE MOD!!! VERY EASY TO DO. 1BADD750
