I want to drink more beer and see more titties and ride my bike more. That was my new years resolutions. It has been hard to achieve with bad weather, overtime [understaffed dept] and being married. Thank the gods for the internet , MEAD, and motorcycle customization. I need to win Powerball.:drink:

It is a blackberry honey mead with blackberry juice that gets fermented at the same time. I will let you know how it turns out. It still needs to be clarified and the flavor adjusted [ sweetness ] . Then aged. I may fortifie it with some high end Danish vodka.:king: :king:

It is super easy to make. It just takes time and some equipment. It will not last long. You would be suprised at how a bottle here and there to your friends adds up to 25-30 bottles. I can not make it fast enough to keep up with demand. It can take up to 6 months for a batch to finish up! IT SHOULD BE AGED FOR AROUND 3 TO 6 MONTHS AFTER THAT! For 25-30 bottles thats is a long time. I am going to start charging friends a minimal fee to cover cost. I have spent hundreds of dollars on equipment and ingrediants and given most of it away. 15-20lbs of honey per batch at around $2.65 a pound plus berrys if I do a mellowmel. It takes around 5-10 lbs of berrys. Corks and bottles are not cheap either when used in high quantity. The total cost minus labor is probibly only around 3-5 bucks a bottle. Most available meads for sale go around 15-40 bucks a bottle. I have been told that my small batches are far supirior.
