What does everyone use to clean the insects off their bikes???

And also, what kinda a wax you use to keep it bright

I use the same lemon pledge to get the bugs off as I use to polish the chrome.
I dont wax it though, just a quick wipe down with the pledge every couple days.

I use the honda Cleaner and wax in one.It is a spray can it has uv protection for your paint.You can use it on your pipes too.

Lemon pledge?? is that not a bit oily? I can maybe see it on the paint (i guess) but on the chrome (not on the pipes right) does it not smell?

I use lemon pledge also. Works like a champ. Spray it on and let it soak a minute and the bugs just wipe off. Only place I dont use it is the windshield.

Here is my comment that has nothing to do with the thread. I have to say that seeing some of the custom SS750's like Calicruiser's have me about ready to buy a second bike. Keep the ACE for the longer distance and two up riding, but have a SS750 for setting up a bad ass looking, low sitting, raked front end machine.

how many miles you put on your bike? just curious?
i have 2002 and 5100 miles..
when you done with all your mods,,what next? eventually another mod will come out of nowhere, then back to the drawing board....never ending mods,,fuck,,,mo money, mo money to spend....

Soap and water. Usually spray'em and wait a while for the water to soften the guts before using the soap and ProtectAll afterwards.

I'm evil - I use a little diesel to get bugs/tar off the bike. Just be careful and wash it with water right afterwards. I polish mine with yellow carnauba - 5-6 coats when I do it. Lasts about a year with good washing and I touch up with Maguires Final Inspection spray on wax.
