trying to load pics onto my vpic gallery and when i go to load even just one, it says something like " limit exceeded" like my pics were too big or something? theyre just normal size pics on comp wtf?! I hate this information box...except for all the mod ideas on this site...and the boobies on others....(hmmmm not sounding so bad after all:)

Are your pictures in the right format? .jpeg or something else that's recognized? I had some trouble loading pictures that were too large too. Just some ideas. You might also go into your user cp and click on attatchments to see if you need to delete some. I don't think this matters with the gallery but it might be something to try.....

Usually , you should resize the photo to 500X375. Leave the aspect ratio so the computer sets the second #. But the file size is still too big for this site. So I resized my photos to 300X and they worked.

It;s not really the size of the picture. It's the size of the file that's generated. A standard "size" pic at high resolution generates an enormous file. If you size down to roughly 300x? (where ? is based on the aspect ratio auto selected by the computer) it shoudl work just fine. Also, as mentioned before, make sure it's in .jpg or .gif format.:thumbsup:

Best format would be jpg, but we'd have to get menace to chime in and let us know what size limit he has things set to on the admin panel.

I believe it states the size as well as application....

Now to insert a pic in a post put your mouse over the pic right click go to properties highlight and copy the http adress line then when you post click insert image and paste on the hilighted http line like sohttp://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y225/koyer/Bikesig2.jpg
