I was looking for springer front ends for Hondas, and I found a site for a place in Arkansas that makes springers for the VTX! A bit pricey for this poor boy, cheapest one is $1,350.00, but if you want to buy one that's a bolt on for your VTX, these guys are making them! http://metricspringer.com/

I believe I've read somewhere that you can get a DNA set to fit. I think it takes a little work to do it. I agree, I'd love to have one but can't afford it.

If springers are gay, then I way my bike to be as gay as possible! LOL! Well, without the reflectors, though.

I like thier bony mechanical look. I like my hydrolics for the smoothness, but I've always loved the classic look of a springer.

So, I have a question. Why is no one turning out these Honda necks for DNA springers? If the measurements are known, I can't imagine it would cost more than $50-$100 per part to have a shop machine up a run of them. Seems like they would be a popular item.

You have to bore out the upper trees so the fit down over the neck far enough to reach the front legs of the springer...alternately, you have to extend the front legs of the springer. So, if folks want to buy the parts, and ship off the parts, it's easy enough to do.

There is a former member named SurferNick that will make what you need or do it youself. Its not that difficult with a DNA.
