Staggers on a 700

I just bought a set of staggers ( off the net ) for my bike. 86 700 Shadow.
Was told they will fit. But the only way will block my oil fillter. Or to cut off my center stand. Not take it off, but cut it off.

I gave a little much for them and I know the guy wo'nt take them back.
Would anyone have any ideas on this? With out cuting , griding, or any of that stuff..

At least my seat came back today.:laugh4: Realy pretty.:laugh4: Cost 2 times more than I was told it would.........:madani:

You could get a oil filter relocation kit or see if a muffler shop could bend them a little to clear,
