Insted of using a vtx rim couldn't I just order a new outer rim from Buchanans and use it with my shadow hub. And what if I went with a 16"rim insted of the 15" would I still use the 200/70 or would I need to use something alittle diff. to get the hight right.....200/ /16 ??? What do u guys think? :thumbsdow :rolleyes3

yeah, i know this is an old post...but no one answered his questions so....
its all really just a matter of money
with buckhannons, the rim alone will run ya around $250 plus they charge you to drill it to your existing bolt pattern
with the vtx rim, its around $100 shipped, and ya just got to relace
...but yeah, if you go the buckhannon route, you could get a 16, 17, or 18" rim....oh, and with them you can get a custom made 6" wide rim:thumbsup: , instead of the vtx 4.5"
