This may be old news to some, but my buddy found this site:

http://www.cli-maxridinggear.com/servlet/the-2249/D.I.D-525-V-Professional/Detail

True DID chain for just under $100. 525 122-link o-ring. He ordered his and I installed it on his Shadow for him, and now I got mine in the mail today. Says "D.I.D." on the little plates and everything - I was pretty skeptical until I saw his, as I've always seen them for over $150.

They also offer free shipping for orders over $100 (shipping is $12.95), so I found a battery tester for $12.95 and added that to the order. So I got free shipping or a free tester, depending on how you look at it.

Anyway, just passing on the info for my chain-driven brothers here. As for me, I'm just waiting for the 39-toother to come in at the local shop, and I'll be putting in my new links.

Happy to be of service, guys. Mine's on and I'm enjoying the lower gearing again.

Just put mine on last night....ordered it here. It is AMAZING the difference a new chain makes in the way your bike feels!!!

This morning was the first I have riden since changing it out last night. When I take off at a light it is instant power to the wheels, no slack. Shifting between gears feels almost like an automative transmission. And the sound is WORLDS different.

This DID chain is amazing...the moment you open it and slide it out of the box into your hand you are immediately pleased (and relieved since its an on-line order) with the quality. I have ZERO regrets with this purchase and install!!!

The two coolest things to replace on a bike are the chain and the tires - either one will always make it feel like it just rolled out of the showroom.
