That's right Rub it in Pegs, I wonder if they still make that Snowmobile conversion any more where you take off the swingarm and tire and put on the TRAX

You should move to Sunny Nebraska! We don't need no stinkin trax around here! (I should shut up before we really get hit.....) We have only had a couple of inches of snow this winter. Very dry here. Has been unseasonably warm also. Had a week or so of around zero but that's it so far. A few flurries yesterday. Didn't even cover the ground. I'm thinking about plantin tomatoes tomorrow:yes: J/K

Hell I use to ride in that shit when I lived in Indiana and was young and dumber. and had to stop and use a stick to get the snow out between the tire and front fender so the front tire could turn , and only to plug up again damn thoes were the days. Now you know why I moved to New Mexico.

No not realy but that sounds good any way. My bud and me used to ride all the time rain or snow one time I even got to have a brake lever stuck in my right wrist on an icy street. Damn that was fun! Where are all the dedicated bikers anyway? Where is your sence of adventure and possable war stories from crashes and all that fun shit.

I hear ya TD I used to ride my 920 Virago in the rain and extreame cold (not snow)
but it's all I had left after the EX got done with me, now I don't have to ride in the rain unless I get caught in it which is something my current wife won't forget anytime soon the second time I had her out on the Bike we got caught in a thunderstorm needless to say she wasn't to happy or calm but she didn't freak to the point that control was in question, just the 15 minutes of screming and yelling after we stopped

Lets think about this one.... how heavy was the bike and what kind of tires were on it? I bet it wasn't a 600 lb. cruiser:no: with avon venoms!

No it was a damn old Allstate that was sold by sears roebuck. hell I don't even remember who built it. It was early 60s ,I said I was Younger damn it. It probably weighed over 300 lb. I sure did have fun on that bike though I even flipped it end over end once and was under it two of the three time it flipped Damn that felt good didn't even break a bone but ripped my shirt off and road rashed my back.If I was to crash like that today it would probably kill my ass. No Relay I feel for you all up north that weather sucks and I been there so I feel Your Pain. When you get older and have some time to reminisce it's fun to talk about all the thing that happened in years gone by. Then you will know life is full of memories and each time you walk away from a crash you are making a memory
I once rode an H-D from K.C. Ks to Great Bend Ks in Feb and the last hr was snowing, I was only 20 years old at the time. (dumb)

It's been colder than hell but the snow missed us! We got about an inch and that's all. Today is supposed to be in the 40's so that's not too bad. Bike is still on the trailer from the bike show this last weekend so I should be able to get it unloaded today.
