heres how you do it. Start off with a steel pan, drill a bunch of holes 1/8 spaced out 1/8. find an old yoga mat at a yard sale, find a piece of veg-tanned leather. Come up with a design, bang the hell out of the leather, add color and finish it with some lacing. have fun!!!!

Thanks, I've been so swamped with seats. Finally the folks are out riding so I can get caught up. That seat I posted is for my bike. I also wrapped the front fender with lacing also. I'll post that tomorrow. Thanks for looking!!!!

Folks don't normally wrap fenders in leather, but I'm using this bike to show of something unique. Bike will look sharp when its all done.

Nice work. Do you make and sell seats? If so, do you have a price range?

Okay, I was skeptical...not now, that is freakin SWEET!!! I know you are showing off your work, but I would have thought the seat would look better plain.

Only after a long ride in the rain and the pirate is emblazoned on your new Kahki pants. LOL!
I LIKE the pirate, I could have done without the writing though! <g>

What do you perfer to use for lacing? I am in the Cali desert so I figure what ever you are using in Florida will stand up to the sun out here also.

Most folks like to use Kangaroo lacing, I like to use 1/8 thin lacing that is man made from tandy leather. Its cheep and it holds up better in UV rays.Plus I've had to repair some corners where someone has bumpped the edges and cut the lace when using the kangaroo lace. If you need the part #, let me know. Thanks!!!!

Amen, though I wonder if you could figure up something so you can leather wrap and secure it without having to drill holes, in the event you decide to remove and paint or something...

Ken, I don't know the answer but I suspect this is a one shot thing. Don't do it if you cant afford to replace the parts if you change your mind.....
Any other way and it wouldn't look right or perform right!
