Just wondering if others have a high pitched whine from their bikes. My guess was that the source of it was from the charging system, but I really don't know. Is this typical or is mine just sounding off more than the rest?
If it is typical, is there a way to quiet it down. It isn't over bearing at all but I just don't like it.

I haven't noticed a whine on mine while driving. I do have a high pitched whistle at certain speeds/wind conditions now with the rim design I have.

I'll check for that when it warms up and I can actually go for a ride.

I have heard other shadows do it. That was when I still had hearing.

I hear the same thing on mine, at idle. Can't tell if it's there when rolling cuz of the thunderlicious sound of the exhaust!

I'd say that the sound is there all the time but you just can't hear it when the engine revs to the point that the exaust drowns it out. You can definetly hear it at idle and as you are first headed off at a gentle roll. Getting on it or at a higher rev you'd not have a chance to hear it.

Come To Think Of It I Did Have A Whistling Noise At Idle.
I Shifted The Choke Cables A Bit And It Would Go Away.
