So I've decided to have my buddy cut and weld some side covers out of diamond plate for me for my '83 vt750 as I really can't justify the price for originals on ebay -they are just 2 bits of plastic, after all! However trying to get proper measurements from the frame is proving more difficult than I expected. If anyone has some spare time and would care to measure their originals for me (anything from an '83-86 750, 700, or 500), I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one stoked to have some custom metal covers made. I just need all sides, depth, and- if possible- tab placement. Any help would be great, Cheers!:happy2:
