Hey folks. I was tired of looking at my dull risers. I removed them and spent about 30 minutes polishing them with white rouge on the polishing wheel that is on my bench grinder. The result: looks like chrome. Easy and cheap fix. Worth while. Sorry for the spots, I need to wash the bike, so it is a little dirty.

Nice work. Throw on a couple coats of carnuba wax so they don't go dull on ya.

Thanks for the idea. I never thought to do that. I guess it makes perfect sense. Anything to help reduce the number of times I have to polish parts is appreciated.
Thanks again Beaker.

Clear coat will also help...or you'll have to re-polish them about every 3-6 months. If you have strong wrists...
Looks good! :cool3:
