Has anyone had any experience with the "new" Progressive AirTail IAS air shocks http://www.progressivesuspension.com/airtail-ias.html ? These look really good and I like the idea of easy adjustability.

And yes AirportFF.... I tried the search button first! :laugh4: I not only used the SEARCH button, I used the ADVANCED SEARCH features .... still nothing.

Their site doesn't have pricing. Apparently they don't sell direct, only through their distributors. So I called a local stealer and had him check. He doesn't have it listed in his Progressive book (which isn't the newest one). But he said if I print it out and bring him the details he'll call tham and check. I'll let ya know what I find out.

I checked in with the stealer today. These aren't even in their current catalog. They did some searching around though and found a price and install instructions. These come with two shocks and an on-board compressor for about $750. The comp mounts on a frame rail. They'r e gonna more details at the big show later this month. Said he might even get a set to play with.... gonna let me be the guinea pig!!!!

I'd like to see these things! Maybe they'll have them at the bike show I'm going to next saturday.

I had the guys at the shop here drooling yesterday over these. I hope Progressive is at the show here in St Louis later this month so I can get a good look at them. $750 is a lot for shocks, but if they look as good in person as they do on their site... and to be able to eaily adjust ride stiffness and height... I'll be saving my milk money!

When you get to see them, let us know how big they are in comparison to the stock shocks or the other progressives. Be nice to be able to have the air suspension option, but not at the expense of a bulky look.
