side mount on 1100 ace

hey guys, Me and my son bought a 95 1100 ace we are gonna customize. we are wanting to mount a side mount taillight/license plate. The connections are under the seat but my questions is: I fond a wire harness for a 600 wonder if it will plug in under seat and run to side mount and wire it in to work or do i need to find a 1100 harness. I know this is a crazy question but wondered if any u guys think it will work. Thanks for the help in advance!!!!!!

Why don't you just splice in some new wire?? Not too difficult.

If it's like my VT11c Spirit, just remove that portion of the harness (turn signals are on their own feeds) and make a new harness. You can easily get the connectors fro and auto parts store.
