Ok so I did my searching maybe not a full 2 hours worth but enough to not find what im looking for. Heres the good. Got to ride the bike today, amazing 87 degrees outside sun shining, chicks on the beach in almost nothing, stopped at my local watering hole for a couple cold ones, couldnt have been a better day, especially since im not even cleared to drive a car yet by the dr. fuck him.

Ok now the bad, I stopped by my buddies on the way home and he says " whered you get that dent in your tank" ... Im like what the fuck are you talking about. Sure as shit theres a half dollar size dent on the right side of my tank. Hard to see unless your looking. So first thing I do is call the lady. "honey is there something you forgot to tell me that dropped on my baby while she was in the garage? " Her answer was "no honey I would tell you, it would be through eyes full of tears but I would tell you"... Honestly im thinking it happend at the shop when they put on my hypercharger but I cant prove it as it just got noticed.

So now the question, is there a way that I can just get a strong ass suction cup or something and try to yank it out without fucking up the paint? Or should I just suck it up and take it to one of those paintless dent removal places?

Just looking for advice if anyone has been able to do this with a home brew method... Ive heard filling it with high pressure air etc. I dont have access to that.

Probably not gonna be able to pull it out with suction, but it's certainly worth a try, your best bet is probably gonna be the paintless repair place, they'll use a long bent rod with a rubber tip on it to push it out from the inside; the high pressure air thing is hard to control and very dangerous.

call beach city car wash in costa mesa. They call in a paintless dent guy that is very good. I see him work on a lot of high dollar cars. Ive had them do some work on my wifes mustang . Give them a call.

Have you tried the heat gun/air duster trick? Friend of mine dished his tank with his knee, hardly noticeable now.

Cruff is never going to live that down...I would have said it if you hadn't beat me to it.

Sorry to hear that LOC. Definitely try a good paintless dent repair and good luck with it.

Freeze and pop works. Drain your tank, fill it with water, put the gas cap back on, put it in a freezer, check it in a couple of hours, dent should be gone, if not totally gone, fill it up and freeze again. If you do this you need to cover the vent hole with some tape to prevent water from seeping out.

Seen it a ton of tomes, fly ball, home run, everyones happy.... Game ends, and theres a parent flipping out in the parking lot with a shattered windshield.

Same goes for a golf course...
