Accessorizing your byke cant get kinda expensive,,For you
Guys that like adding a bit of chrome to your bike here and there
Try this.........

On the back swing arms instead of buying the chrome accents
Buy MIRROR CHROME TAPE cut to shape either one peice or three
and stick accordingly,,, looks Great...........
Works on all bikes and in any area.....Inexpensive Alternative.....
Im sure theres a lot of other places it can be used too....:2thumbsup

I used a yard stick for mine to get the width, then just measured the length, did the same for the ends, rounded then with a pair of scissors......

My Bag it's Mosher2003's Bike

I was checking the chain on the bike....and i wouldn't say it was in need of serious adjustment......just a little adjustment.....
How do i do that?? I've only had this bike since November......therefore, i don't know too much about adjusting the chain. Most of the bikes i've had have been shaft drive, except for a '76 Honda supersport....and it's different than the spirit.
Thanks......

mosher did you get an owners manual with it it should explain the chain adjustment in there ' oh as far as watching us fuckers all browsers give that up unless your using an annonymus ISP and yes it is serious if you throw the chain locking the rear wheel when you don't want to or chew up the side case both could cause injury and a rear wheel lock up could cost your life

Adjustment:

1. Place the motorcycle on it's side stand with the transmission in neutral.
2. Loosen the axle nut(1).
3. Turn both adjusting bolts(2) an equal number of turns until the correct drive chain slack is obtained. (counterclockwise to tighten chain) Roll the motorcycle forward and check tension again. Then check that the axle is aligned by making sure the index marks(3) align with the scales(4) on both sides of the swing arm.
4. Tighten axle nut to 69 ft-lbs (93 N-m) torque.

What i mean by not in serious need of adjustment is.....it is barely out of adjustment!! not meaning that it wouldn't be a serious problem...but you making it out like the chain is hanging off of there!!! On the markings on the side...it is still in the green...

Not the Marks Mosh, the Slack in your Chain Take a good look at your Pic I'd guesstimate some where near an inch and a half the marks don't change untill you adjust the Chain

FrankZ
03-08-2006, 11:18 PM
Now if you've adjusted the Chain it shouldn't have any Bow in it and the up or down deflection should be no more than an inch total

They are saying that it is going to get up to 16c on saturday here....next week looks pretty warm too, but lots of rain!! Oh well, still not bad for March. Usually it is mid april before i can get the bike back out. This winter has been really good, i've been riding a little each month so far.

Hey FrankZ....Finally got around to it today....went well. Had to borrow a torque wrench from a mechanic friend, but it only took about 5 minutes to do it.
Thanks for your help
