I know we all have our different opinions on how this forum should look. I have added some more styles and I will keep adding them so you can pick what you prefer. All users can now change the style of the forum in their control panel under options. It's at the bottom of the page. So far I have "Blue", firmament and Default. Check them out when you a chance. I will add the Shadowriders Logo to each of them soon.

You could type in black, but the words would look like they rushed off the page!

My favorite skin is tren_z skin that one is really cool looking.
I don't really think that it would make a whole lot of difference. The charm of this place is the people, not the color... I have a dream, that one day... wait, wrong color speech....

I like tren_z the best to. Is there a black one? The Black is easierr to read I find.

That's another great feature of this style of board. Each person can make changes that appeal to them.
Great work guys another great addition to an already exceptional forum.

trez_z style is now the default for new members. I think it is the best so far. I could be wrong. :Mr-T:

Man, I love this Forum, getting beter & better!

Aside frm the great skin option, I think It also runs faster. Really helps for people using dial up like me. Did you do anything? umm...never mind, I don't know shit about computer programme anyway :rolleyes5

I'm gonna be heading to the stealer soon to pick up some stuff (it's starting to warm up!) Thinking of making up a flyer and putting it on their bulletin board to try and recruit fresh noobs. Gotta get the word out there! :gossip:

I made up about 50 3x5 flyers and put them up at the stealer the day before the board went down! LOL.... I will do it again in the spring.
without the members map, it is more difficult to see where people are from.

There is someone writing a member map for this forum software. I have seen it, but it was not a U.S. map. He had it working in Germany only. I will add it in as soon as its ready for use.

I am still learning, but here is what I have found:

Ranks:
User ranks are images or text that are assigned to your users based on their post count. The most common usage of ranks is that of stars that increase or change color based on the user's post count and usergroup.

User's ranks generally appear beneath their username on posts, private messages, announcements, usernotes and in their profile.

Reputation:
User Reputation in its simplest form is a ranking of your user's benefit to your forum. Its basis comes from the opinions of all of your forum users that choose take part in it.

Users gain and lose reputation based on how their posts are scored by other forum participants. Users with the ability to affect reputation, will either give or take aways points by approving or disapproving with a post's content.

User reputation can be a derisive element of your forum so great care should be taken before a decision is made to enable it.
