i agree with the black is better!!!!! but i dont agree that you need red, as a matter of fact, the red only slows down the black, so if i were you i would remove all traces of red from your bike and make it as black as possible.

be careful when they change to the side of the spectrum that contains the cimson colors, your bike will start to slug out and come to a crawl. If you stay on the throttle, you will move toward the end of the spectrum that includes the absense of all color. You will slip into a dimension of no resistance and you bike will take off like never before. Hang ON!!

I have a 1987 HD XL1200 thats Kameleon color (which is the fastest because it has all colors!) but..... do I still get to be a member? Flat black with VonDutch fastest .Black with red flames second . A off color seat will speed things up to ie red sparkle or tan . Shadows heated cup holder with fringe and lighted conchoe's changes the areo's dynamics and speeds it up a little bit for a stationwagon . :crazy3: Chains are just cooler .
