Was wondering if you folks could help me with three things:
1) Was wondering if anyone has had any luck with wrapping their pipes? Id like to wrap these in black but didnt know how it would look or if anyones had problems with wrap.
2) Im gonna try and fit a 200 or so under the rear. Anyone here done it yet?
3) I dont want a hyper charger but would like to put something kick ass on here other than the airbox. Any thoughts?

#1, I think Sin has wrapped his. (If not, talk to Pegs, I'd hope he's keeping his wrapped or the wife will be killing him for what he may bring home :grin3: )
#2..........Can't be done :laugh4: (There's a few of us running the 200 in the back, not that difficult to fit in. You can run a 215 as well)
#3 Lots of options on intakes. Some with the hyper, others running the Thunder intakes, I've got a bootleg intake. Halebob and many others are being used. So the options are endless on that .

I have black ceramic coated pipes. Didn't do the wrap, just made them all black. AS for the other stuff, use the search button, plenty of posts about 200 tires and air intakes.

Get some WD-40 under the grip to loosen the glue. If you can remove the end caps, do so and then use a small screw driver to pry up a little. Keep doing it a little at a time so you don't damage the grips. Keep trying to twist them as you go as well.

Hey, I purchase the bar from J and P Cycle. http://www.jpcycles.com/metric.aspx
The grips I just ate! I never have any luck breaking the old ones loose at to be honest...hate the factory grips any way. These are pretty close to what I have. http://www.jpcycles.com/productgroup.aspx?GID=7E425F8B-B8F2-46FB-BB2D-A5F742B3224A

I'll swap my stock black rear fender for yours!!! What do you think!!! I know you want to! I really want to get a chopped fender. After you chopped it, did you repaint?

I wont trade ya but if you want to chop yours...Ill do it for ya. And yes, after I beveled the edge, I fiberglassed the hole from the old seat and reshot the whole thing. Took about a day for everything. Other side of the coin...I can send you a template for the fender and you can cut it out pretty easy with a Dremell cutter and a 12 pack of Corona!:freak:
