Can't wait to see it on your bike. I think that tank stretch and the new paint is gonna take it right to the next level!

Mine is Lexus Matador Red Mica, which is also crossover from Toyota, might be the same. AWESOME COLOR, can't begin to describe it when the full sunlight hits it.

I like the old school metal flake paint too. I am just not into paying $500 for a tank to get painted. I decided to give metal flaking a shot with a rattle can of dupli color Ford paint and gold flake from a craft store. It turned out ok, but it is a bitch to do. Not bad for my first time ever taking a crack at it I guess.

I don't know about all of that. It will probably be at least a month before I get around to putting some paint on it. Alot of that has to do with the same situation you find yourself in. I am waiting on a buddy to get his stuff together to paint it for me too. Today is my Friday, so I hope to get the Speedo mounted and try to finish up the tank today and tomorrow. Then, I just gotta get the rear fender shaped and I should be about ready for paint.<STILL p or Fri. here be should kit better.Rake get to him want it)and over not quote]< Sat.woohoo!!!!!!!!!!![>

I think that looks pretty good for rattle can. the best thing about rattle can is when it gets scratched by some prick in a parking lot er whatever you get to try out that other idea thats been bouncing around your head. and for under 50bucks!

a dirty bike with great paint is a sin, a dirty bike with cheap paint looks perfect.
