what browser is he using???? If he's not using mozilla yet, he should switch over to it. If he is, he may want to check what 'add-ons' he's added. Some of them will prevent java script among other things. Out of the box mozilla shouldn't give you any issues for browsing.
But dump Internet Explorer and leave it behind.

First off thanks to Cali for posting this thread.
It's the same ole song that I posted last week in the (bout damn time)thread.
Now I am using IE,but I havent changed anything on my system in forever.
So why did this start??This is the only place Im having any issues.
I have my comp set to clear history, temp files and cookies everyday. This morning
after reading this thread the only thing I did was close out explorer, and reopen it.
Im running DSL,and I havent had any issues anywhere else.

I read it. You said you cleared cookies every day. If you do that every day it will make you log in every day. Once you get rid of the corrupt or bad cookie keep the good one and you should be fine. :knife:

That's odd. Why don't you give Firefox a try ? http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ it is much faster than IE and you can turn on tabbed browsing and have multiple sites open in one browser and tab from one to the other. Firefox is also skinable so you can change skins to whatever you want. I only use IE not for Windows Update. :drink:

Jason, that sounds like the problem I was having on Chromewhore. Everytime I went to the site I had to log in, even though I had it set on "remember me" and then I would have to log in again if I wanted to post there. Even if I had already made a post in that session. Got to be a pain in the ass, that's why I never went back.

Not sure what could be causing your issue with the site Jason. Vbulletin is a standard board and there aren't too many settings on the control panel end of things to change the way a page is viewed.
Have you recently changed or added any anti-spyware or anti-virus software on your computer? Maybe a change in how you hook up, i.e. through a router, if that's been changed at all.
Seriously, if you haven't tried mozilla's firefox, give it a shot. Download it, have it import your bookmarks and try it for a couple of days. If you don't like it, uninstall it and go back to using IE, you won't have lost anything. They both will run without any conflicts. For the simple fact that is doesn't use activeX which is a HUGE security hole, it's worth the download and peace of mind.
Hope somehow someone can come up with a reason as to why this is happening to you.

Alright,I downloaded the firefox, and it seems to be fine this morning.Logged in
with no problems, and it may even be alittle faster. The one thing I dont like is
using IE I had my favorites(bookmarks)down the left hand side of my home page
and I can seem to do that with this one. I'll be on and off the comp all day so we will see how it goes.I want to figure out the multiple links thing too.You know viewing 2
web pages really fast.
Thanks everyone for the help so far.:jamming:
