Yes they are 65 mm slip on mufflers from Roadhouse. they have a sale on some blems right now. I saved 100 dollars. They have removable baffles and aren't supposed to be obnoxiously loud.

I have them on my spirit 750 they sound and look good they are pretty loud but not obnoxious They look like longshots. Go all the way to the back of the back rim even not stagered I also got the blemished ones they only had a small scratch on one of the mounting plates. Great deal. Have to get another set because my wife wrecked them when she dumped my bike.

I think it was the best thing to happen. She is ok. Turned it into the insurance and got 2100 mod money. Most of the damage was stuff I was gonna change over the winter anyways. Now I am putting on highway hawk forwards .(Bummer she's too short to reach just gonna have to get her her own bike.

If the pipes are too loud, you are too old!!!

The only thing I'm not sure of is the gap between the pipes. Because they use the stock headpipes, they have to be spaced, unless they offset the mufflers. I'm interested in the short drag style pipes, w/removable baffles, that are over and under style close together, maybe a slash down cut. Anyone know where I could find some of those?:freak:

I just put a set on too. They really sound great.
I bought them strraight from the warehouse in North Hollywood, CA. The guys that work there are pretty cool and helpful.

I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone ran these without the baffles. Them being removeable, does that mean you dont have to rejet when you take out the baffles? I just took mine out, and it is pretty damn loud and mean sounding.

Im just guessing but I dont think you'll have to rejet. I guess after a good hot road test you will find out.

You don't have to rejet when you use slip-on . Reason is that your still using the original headpipe and the restriction hasn't changed...you will run much leaner without the baffles tho, so you really should adjust the A/F mixture to enrichen the mix.

Thats the info I was looking for. I ran it down the road, and didnt get the usual decel popping. It wasnt much, but it did do it normally, but not after I took out the baffles. Thanks to you both.
