Removing Drive Sprocket Cover

This may be a stupid question, but how do you remove the drive sprocket cover on a 2005 Spirit 750?
I removed the one bolt that i could see, and it almost seems like it should pop off, but it won't.
I don't want to force it too much
Any help would be appreciated.
