I use to be a relatively faithful watcher of there show.

Do you remember the episode where they broke down on the Cross Bronx Expressway? They towed the trailer to Rescue 3 and they fixed the trailer for them? One of those guys, Jeff Cool, happened to be in the Air National Guard at that time (he was since almost killed in a fire in the city and is now retired) and worked with us on occasion.

Being the closest military installation to Orange County Crappers, we get a lot of requests from military fire departments around the world for a picture, mostly the boys in Iraq.

Jeff happened to be working with us that week and we called out there and asked if we brought the truck out if we could get a picture for the guys overseas. I explained that it would be less that 5 minutes of their time and we could do it at their convenience, and I understood that they had a business to run. Jeff also explained that he was one of the city firefighters that helped fix their trailer a few months before.
We were told that we couldn't come out there and that we would have to bring the (65ton) firetruck to one of their appearances and MAYBE they would let us take a picture with them.
We agian asked if it was possible and even said that just give us a call and we could be there in less than 5 minutes. We were then abruptly hung up on.

My son and I went on a poker run for MDA a few years ago. They were suppose to be on the run with the rest of us. We waited for a while and they didn't show at the starting point so I told my son we could meet up with them at the end.
They showed up at the end, they were police escorted from the their shop to the end of the run and nobody was allowed to ride near them.

Justin Barnes from JB Graphics who use to paint their bikes (he did the fire bike, and the side panels on mine) was suppose to go to bike week with them a couple years ago. He ordered about 15 grand in shirts for the event and had everything loaded and ready to go. They then called him and said that since he would obviousley sell a ton of shirts because he was associated with them that they wanted a cut of his t shirt sales.

Also with Justin. Have you noticed that he no longer does their bikes? And that they are using Nub Graphics again. The real reason behind that is that they wanted Justin to constantly put other peoples shit off so they could get their stuff done because of the TV show. He refused and said that he had other customers that needed stuff done too. (I was one of them) They also didn't want to pay him for the paint work anymore because they figured that the media exposure was payment enough. He told them to fuck off.

Before they got popular they use to go to Americade and set up shop in Boltons Landing at a little Mom and Pop joint. They were allowed to use their parking lot to sell there stuff and paid a very small fee for the use of the lot. This past year they told the folks that they would have to pay OCC an appearance fee if they wanted them in their lot.

Dave, a friend of ours that owns East Side Custom Choppers, was in the middle of building a new facility near Romars welding (who does the real welding for OCC). OCC pitched a fit to the town planning board about them building too close to them (about 1/2 mile away) and damn near bankrupted the guy.

The Montgomery PD sells raffle tickets at the local annual festival. When they asked OCC's guys to buy some, they were flat out refused. These are the same cops that have to provide escorts for them while they shoot the tv show.

John, the owner of Smokin MC products, a small machine shop that makes parts for them asked if he could just deliver the parts to the shop and save the shipping costs they said that no vendors are allowed on the property. He only lives about 4 miles from the shop.

If they are so damn good, why aren't Discovery's golden childs ever in a biker buildoff? They farmed everything out to subcontractors. Only recently have they started doing things in house. Fuck, my kids could come up with an idea and have someone else build it. They do have some talent, personally, I think Vinnie is the backbone of that place. And a hell of a nice guy from the folks I know that know him. Mikey too. But the other two dipshits, baaa, fuck em.

I have absolutely no love for those fuckers. I don't begrudge anyone making money, but to try to fuck over the people that helped make you what you are is fucked up.

I'm looking forward to it BUT...............FF took me eagle watching today. I saw my first Bald Eagle today. I was so excited I could've popped! First we saw a couple immature ones, then I saw an adult with the white head and yellow beak. They're beautiful creatures! They only come round in winter so I'm looking forward to seeing more of them BEFORE spring gets here. (I have been looking at my gardening catalogs though)

Piece of cake, just run the big pipe out the back on to the outside of the house. If it's wrong you'll just feel a little sleepy when you are using it.
