I drive a 2001 Chevy S-10 extendacab. Picked it up for 2 grand last year. It has about 130,000 miles on it (210,000 km). Nothing great but does the job. My wife drives an 07 VW Beetle. Grey with two hot pink racing stripes. I try NOT to drive that if I can at all avoid it.

2010 Ram. 5.7 Hemi. Got a new truck and told the wife I would leave it 100% stock. I am trying hard, but so far, new dual exhaust, leveling kit, new rims with 35's, mud flaps, 2 10" subs with amp, push bar with driving lights, PIAA bulbs in stock lights and a tonno cover. Mud tires and chrome rims coming in the spring..... bro still wants to do some sort of graphics (still undecided on mild or wild) other then that, it's still 100% stock.

Last road trip, got 21.5 MPG. Not bad for a V-8 4x4 on 35's.

Ya me and the lady saw them on display at the OC Fair this year, sat in it looked it up and down and fell in love. Been trying to talk her into switching ever since. She loves the Jetta and it is a nice fast sporty car but I want another jeep. We got like 9 months left on the jetta lease and then we will see.

Can't help but to mod everything I drive.

Same thing here, only reason I haven't done anything to my commuter car is I can't stand the idea of spending the $$ on it.

My commuter is an '91 Honda Accord that just turned 93k, the wife has been driving an '08 Ford Fusion but that goes back from lease in a week or so. Her new ride is a 2000 Cavalier Z24. She wasn't real thrilled, but it will get her by until we can get her something nicer down the road.

Then there is my truck... My baby is a 2004 Dodge 2500 quad cab with a 6 speed and Cummins power :jamming: Current setup is a Smarty programmer, TS MP8 pressure box, South Bend dual disc clutch, short throw shifter, dual exhaust with turndowns(EXCELLENT investment). Last time I put it on the rollers was last spring and it had a best run of 492/925. Was hoping to swap in a larger charger this year, but ended up buying a motorcycle and the wife's Cavalier...

Then there are the other machines in the garage by the bike, a 2004 Yamaha YFZ 450 and a 2003 Yamaha Wolverine.

This actually shows the smoked cab lights on the truck:

Love when I travel, seeing the different vehicles out there.
In Ireland, it blew my mind that ford, chevy and jeep were there but were making a whole different line, its fun to see.
Saw a jeep cherokee, lifted with a 4cyl diesel was bad ass. (from the factory)
And when in the Caribbean they get tons of whacked out shit imported to them, very cool...

So Bret, japan must be filled with odd stuff??

Japan and Europe get all of the cool ass cars....skyline, silvia, aristo, primera, fto, and most importantly alot of cars come with TURBOS!!! The U.S. gets all of these cheap pieces of shit or giant SUV's. All cars in Japan roll off of the assembly line with alloy wheels not those cheesy ass hub caps like here. And Europe has a bad ass version of the ford focus that will never be released in the states. So sad. When the hell are the U.S. manufacterers gonna realize that you don't have to put a big ass motor that gets 10 mpg in a car to make it go. Slap a decent sized turbo on a reliable 4 cyl or 6 cyl and make the same power/weight ratio as a v8 and increase fuel economy. Or even a turbo diesel. Japan and Euro cars got it down.....what the hell are we waiting for?

People are always talking go green, use less oil.I Don`t think the goverment wants us to,like everything else,it`s a bussiness and they get their share of it.Less oil use =less profit for them. Not Knocking George but when gas was 4 dollars a gallon did we see him fighting to get it lowered? No,he owns a couple oil fields. He was building up his nest egg for retirement.

Scooby is stock for now until something happens to the turbo. The GTI is running 21psi on stock turbo and has an FMIC with 3" downpipe, 36# injectors, and a stage 2 tune(needs retune I think since it's higher boost now)...until this turbo goes bad it's staying stock too, I already replaced it right when I got the car with a stock one but this one has been good for 9k miles or so.

Love hookin up the vw's!
In the 1st post it shows my wifes 2008 jetta, it has the 2.5L 5 cylinder with a stick, just came outta warranty, time to get it hooked up! Already has a K&N, but next is exhaust and then possibly turbo.

As for the GMC I have, its a great suv, all wheel drive so great in the snow.
Even though its a 2010 I'm gunna do exhaust soon....

It is cool when people know what it is, but is more fun when they dont. I embarrassed a kid and his buddy in a mustang 5.0 the other day. When I slowed down and he caught back up he rolled down the window, shook his head and asked what the hell I had in it. I dont think he believed me when I told him it was a v6.

Worse 2 decisions I made were, 68 camaro I sold, was in great shape, sold to a friend for 1800 bux, and he totaled it on the ride home!
Then, took that cash and a few bux outta the bank and bought a 68 Chevelle ss396 (the engine was swapped w a small block 350) But the car was still nasty!

But sold it a couple years later cause I needed the cash....
the list... a nova, 2 other camaros, 2 mustangs, a plymouth duster, 94 bronco with 8inches of lift and 40 inch tires, and a couple others...

I still have pics, but they are buried in my closet somewhere and I DO NOT like to look at them...

I had a 69 Nova that I spent 9 months tricking out then the ex-wife made me sell it cause I had "too many toys". Should have kept the car and sold the wife. Biggest mistake ever.

I had a 64 chevy shortbed stepside. It was a sweet little truck,my first vehicle.Wish i had it back and all the money i spent on trucks since then.It would be a show truck now. Those trucks are getting really popular and harder to find.

I'm an unabashed motorhead, but the Shadow has really been my first truly on-road oriented toy. Everything else I've had up until now has either been a 4x4 or a boat.

You need a good solid 4x4 on the island, and one that gets decent fuel economy is even better, so when I moved out here for college 5 years ago I picked up this in AZ before I left. By the time I was done with college, it looked like this:

13822

My dad's a brit who grew up all over southern Africa, and he learned to drive on an old Series land rover. We've always been a bit Rover-mad, and Hawaii is the perfect place to have an old bus like this; when we found it, we jumped on it. It's an ex Royal Marines 110, sold to the USMC after a tour in the Balkans, auctioned off on Oahu, and now the perfect Big Island expedition vehicle. This shot was taken after a very muddy run out to the northernmost part of the island, Upolu point:

13823

About a year ago, an opportunity came up to sell the Samurai to a buddy who'd been lusting after it for some time, so I did. The rover bug had bitten me hard by that point, so when I found the 95 RRC on craigslist, I was doomed. Got a sweet deal on it though... $1700 :jamming: Makes me realize that I need to get some better pictures of it, because now it's been lifed 2", has 32" Falken High Country tires, and has had the rear exhaust silencer and the front spoiler removed. (The trooper next to it in the pic, I drove all the way though highschool -- sensing certain 4x4 trend here?)

13824

Total offroad luxury. It's just a good thing I have the bike to save me some gas money; this thing has a serious drinking problem.

True story, dude. That little Zuki went everywhere I told it to, never a single hiccup offroad. And we have some gnarly shit here. Lava deserts, deep jungle mud, streams to ford, beaches full of sand to get stuck in, even snow up on the mountains in the winter, and everywhere you go giant goddamn volcanic rocks just waiting to gut your differentials. The sammy survived it all.

Not a whole lot of places on earth you can ask your 4x4 to go from sea level to 14,000 feet in a single morning, and much of that off-pavement. The little Zuk took everything without much complaint, and I thought so highly of Suzuki after owning it that when I went to get a bike I was initially looking for Intruders. Probably would have had one too, if the shadow I ended up with wasn't so dern purty.

Btw, Hellfish, sick rig. Is that an older Patrol? Wish we could get our hands on those in the states.

Nice to see someone else from s10 forum. Im blue89 over there. The one that posted about gettin a shadow. Idk if you remember or not. I personally liked your 454 with the stock wheels better. Like a modded stock look but its your truck. Do what you want

Yeah I remember that. I liked the stock look too but I've always wanted a brand new set of wheels and I've always loved the KMC Novas, so went with the 22's to change things up a bit since the trucks going through a major change this year.

Just picked this up, traded my mustang for it...88 ranger 5.0/t5 swap needs some work, not sure what I'll do with it. I put my cobra intake on it off the mustang but I need to put the gas tank back in and try to get it fired up.

You traded your mustang for that??? Seems like you got ripped off.

BTW your 454 is sick-licious. Are your rear wheel wells going to be sticking above the bedrails trying to accommodate the new tires?

My wife drives this 2007 SLK280 I bought her used this year. Taking this and my bike to Germany when we leave in December.

She used to drive this 2004 Explorer that we are saleing to our son an his wife so they can get rid of her POS Chevy Blazer that keeps breaking down.

02 Chevy Silverado RC 2WD LS (wife's) and my pimp-daddy Caddy 1990 Sedan DeVille 69000 orig miles. Toyin with the idea of selling both and getting a Wrangler.

Are you suffering from some form of stupid, getting rid of the Caddy! AND for a JEEP! . Okay get rid of the Government Motors Car (GMC) Chevy for the Obama Bailout Chrysler but for God's sake man keep the Caddy and all that Detroit steel!

Nah that mustang was a POS man...needed a floor pan, wiring everywhere, bunch of parts...couldn't get it running right....car was useless to me. Sure it was badass looking but not just sitting there. The truck is more useful(if I keep it) since I can throw shit in the bed, plus it's a mustang in truck form...I've always been a fan of first gen rangers. Thanks for the 454 comment, I have plenty of room to stuff the tires in the rear, I made the wheel tubs big enough to fit 22's and possibly 24's.

Way back in the day, I had a 1987 ranger, reg cab, long bed, 2wd, 5 spd, 4 cyl.
Was hit by a drunk on thanksgiving and it was totaled.
But, if he never hit me, I guaranty it would still be driving around.

Had 160k on it and looked and drove like new, man that little truck was bad ass!
I had thoughts of getting the sb ford engine swap kit, but again that was back in the day when I had way too many dreams and not enough cash....

If you're asking about Skoda, first generation Superbs (2002-2008) start from (aprox) 8300 and end with 16 600 Bucks here in Europe.

Problem is...I keep adding mods to my list. I guess that's a good problem as long as the cash tree keeps producing.
