So yesterday I was driving to work when I suddenly hit a bump i lost control over the bike and crashed. Apparently some construction work has been going on during the night and the fucking idiots left a huge bump in the middle of the road, no signs no nothing. the road is a 50mph so I was driving pretty fast. No signs combined with sun in my eyes made it impossible for me to see it....

Here i some pics

Im ok... Luckily it was cold outside so I was wearing my leather jacket with a back plate and my Kevlar jeans plus a full face helmet. That might have saved me some serious damage. The bike by the way was very damaged, I spoke to the insurance company today and they said that the bike would cost to much to fix so ill probably get some cash instead.

During the crash did you ever ask yourself What Would Evil Kenevil Do? Hope someone stopped to help you out. I came up on a sportbike rider who crashed into a ditch about two weeks ago. And saw about three cars just drive by before I pulled off to help him get the bike off his legs. He ended up with a broken wrist , ankle, and two cracked ribs. Glad you walked clean.

I wish it were that way here. I hate the litigious society we have become.

Glad you are here to post this at least my swedish brother!! I have been really pissed at roads lately and road constructions in several cities I drive in. My tax dollars are going towards them and they are either not fixing the streets that need fixed, or they are creating a cluster fuck in the streets that don't really need fixed. WTF.

Did ya get scratched up bad or what? Hospital? Unbreakable?

It sucks about your bike, but glad to hear you are OK. Hopefully you'll be able to turn the insurance $$ into a new bike before too long.
