I was in Champaign at Chanute AFB back in the day. I remember I got lost one night (drunk) and ended up in Hoopston I think. Sleeping in my car in a corn field.:no:

You're not alone, had a buddy try to find my dad's farm one night, we were cookin' whole hogs so we had to put them on the day before. Well anyway, he tried to find my dad's farm drunk and at night...needless to say he didn't. About 7 the next morning he rolled in with the inside of his 'vette completely covered in corn stocks. He never did figure out which field he spent the night in. Hey FF, I retired from our city FD. in 2000, had 23 1/2 yrs in. FFIII/EMT.
