I had done a wheel swap on mine back in '03. I put a Harley Duece rear wheel on, with a disk brake of my own. I used a 2 piston front caliper off a Suzuki dirt bike and a Brembo master cylinder. The master cylinder mounted at the exhaust pipe mount lugs at the back of the frame. The resivior was hid behind the left sidecover behind the tool box and the caliper mounted at the axle and stock brake stay lug on the swingarm. The master cylinder was actuated utilizing the stock linkage back to the inverter lever where I pinned in the rod to the master cylinder. It all worked well, but I couldn't keep a chain from stretching all to hell. The wheel didn't have the cush drive and I always rode it hard. Chains would only last about 4000 miles.

Or an FYI in regards to what he experienced on what he used and what happened to the chains? The for sale makes more sense, based on the description, but there's no price.

I posted that just to show others an alternate rear brake caliper installation that wouldn't require cutting, drilling, or welding on their beloved motorcycles.
