Been on the site for months lurking, admiring and gathering parts. Pulled the rear tire tonight and started my first mod. I have read a shit ton about the sprocket mod on the 750s and decided to start there. I had to pull the axle to install the side mount plate anyway. I found a broken tooth on the drive sprocket and everything was rusted to hell and back; sprockets, chain, ect. I am going with a 16 / 41 tooth combination. The math didn't seem to work out right to me but the website showed that combo. The digi camera charger grew legs ( can one imagine in a household pushing almost 10 not counting the kids whose dads are deployed) so all I have is a shitty ass video of the job half way done I took with the Ipod until I can find the damn charger and get some pics. Sorry to be long winded, blame it on the PBR. :grin3:

Ok here is one pic I managed from a cell phone I borrowed. I am feeling almost Amish due to the lack of technology available to me at the moment.

Im more confused now that the pictures are posted? Did you turn a 20" bicycle into a motorcycle?

Yeah, isn't great! No i thought it was funny that my boy decided to wrap his bike up to try and "mod it" Thought I posted that up there. It is simple. I pulled the rear wheel, swapped out sprockets, put on a side mount license plate and started rewiring the thing. VLXbobber, you've been around here for a minute. Have you been so busy trying to figure out my post that you haven't put pics in your Gallery?
I know you have a bike, I've read your threads.

The brake light won't light up when the brakes are applied. I keep looking at the schematic like it is magically going to give the the meaning of life or something. I just can't figure it out. I don't know much about wireing but I have figured out that the brown has the juice adn the green is the ground. I can't figure out what the green/yellow is and how I am supposed to hook the brake light up when the model A light only has two wires and there are a total of five (2) license plate light and (3) the brake light. :bomb: Shit's gonna drive me to drinkin:drink:

This is the link I could find to another vlx forum. I don't have a scanner to upload the one from the manual.

It could be a bad bulb, I got a new model A taillight and burned out on me within a month or two, rewired the whole damn thing before checking the bulb and realizing what a simple fix it was:grin:

Nope, bulb is good. I am the problem. I can't figure out how to wire it. I was messing with it earlier and got frustrated and walked away from it fora bit. I know brown is hot, green is ground, but yellow / green goes where. Do I run brown to the bottom light, green yellow to the top light and the green down to the housing and put it in behind the screw? :furious2:
