Good luck on the Iron Butt - I know a few folks who have done it multiple times (yeah, they're crazy). If you do it, just be sure to do all the documentation as outlined or you won't get credit and will have to do it again.

Good luck on the Iron Butt - I know a few folks who have done it multiple times (yeah, they're crazy). If you do it, just be sure to do all the documentation as outlined or you won't get credit and will have to do it again.

We have worked out the documentation issues that is why it would be hard to change the route after 6 months of planning, and setting up the support. Besides you would have to feed at least 8 and maybe as many as 30 of us if I showed up at your place Saturday with my buddies.

No problem - we've had 20 Valkyries in our garage at one time so we could probably fit 25+ Shadows. Cooking for hungry guys is never an issue! I have a smoker and am not afraid to use it! :grin3:

The Iron Butt ought to be fun though - most folks I know who have done it, do it on an open straight stretch across the western states.

I am not sure the number of Shadows... It is a all bikes ride. I will be on the HD RoadKing because the Bobber is stripped for repaint, and Ghost is having carb issues, but the more Shadows the better.

That's very cool - we ride with an assortment of bikes in our group as well. I have the only Shadow :happy:

Oh, and HD's stay in the driveway...no oil spots on the concrete please. :kiss: :grin:

Yeah it's all in good fun although the Rebel I learned to ride on leaked worse than any HD! We said it was a wannabe. Damn thing sprayed oil all over my leg... :grin:

I tolerated it so I could learn to ride. Just wore the same old pair of jeans (yes, I did wash them) because they were already ruined.

I just knew when I was riding down the road and my right leg started to feel really warm and a little wet...I hadn't peed my pants. :laugh4:
