thanks guy, but I was posting to see all my options I've seen more then scoot post their mounts . and in the long run maybe I'll find a used one for the low low

i saw his awhile back not sure if the cat eye is gonna fit under my saddle bags and i already have one i might have to just get a basic and get some lights to it or something ill look back through the forums and see how others have done it

Well I see you edited your original post. Never would have offered you the tip if you had already told us you looked there and did not like what you saw or the price.
Guess since you know what you want you can get started making your own. I made my first one until the State of Florida changed the law and made verticals illegal. I am sure a smart sailor can make his own if he puts his mind to it.

I am sure a smart sailor can make his own if he puts his mind to it.Made my first one from an old road sign. Problem is, after I had the Metz's put on, the side mount cracked from the vibration. It is only aluminum, and I guess they torqued it a little too much. So I bought one from egay that rotates vertical to horizontal.

Mine has a solid back, unlike the one he is selling now. What I did, was make a plate that mounts between the braket and license plate, that holds the tail light. It does mount on the axle nut. They may be able to cut one with a smaller hole for you, so you can mount it on a shock bolt.

GET R DONE ! I USE THAT METHOD OR A FLOOR JACK AND SOME WOOD AND I HAVE USED MY CHERY PICKER BUT HAVE TO TAKE THE SEAT OFF. :jamming:

u will need
1.) 3 ft long 4x8 douglas fur
1.)4'x 3/4 galv. threaded pipe
1.) 3/4 galv. pipe flange
3.) 3"x5/16" lag bolts
total 17.00
Tools you will need to asemble the lift
pencil + ruler
drill
1" and 1 3/8" paddleboard drill bit or a adj. whole saw drill attachment
3/16"wood drill bit
1/2 " socket to tighten lag bolts
small pipe wrench
hand saw to notch the wood to compensate anything lower than the frame. http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/bikelift.htm

Just saw the poor mans jack last night after borrowing a jack to pull the rear tire. The axle mount plates can be snagged for between 20 and 30 bucks same for the tail light. I got both off of egay. So you could do the whole thing for 60. Shit take your woman to dinner and buy the parts. BTW saw the USN but can't read what is in red at the bottom. What 's your Rate?
