Oh HELLLLLL yeah!

This thing is awesome. It's like switching from a cavalier to a corvette on performance and a cavalier to a cadillac on comfort. I regret not making the switch sooner.

thats great man, they are nice bikes. you know i want to build my own but if i was to ever buy another one i think i would have to go with either the raider or warrior, not a huge fan of shaft driven. but the 1800 vtx is nice.

I was looking at the new raider s as one of my options. That and the vulcan 2000 because a guy i know works for a kaw shop so I would have gotten a good deal. Ultimately, the theme was BIG BIKE!

Dude, I dig the VTX as well, but imo, only, they are just too big. Consider the Victory bikes, those are MASSIVE FUCKING BIKES...but they feel light...its like a goldwing...they arent the heaviest, but they are BULKY...:thumbsdow

The VTX just seemd too big for me, not cc wise, but phyiscally. I like to be able to throw my bike around and twist on the throttle and hammer down, and on these newer models, while they look great, they just seem too big. I hope that made sense...

My Brother has a Raider, and another has a VTX, both large motorcycles from the factory, but then we stripped them down and chopped them...if you dicide to chop the VTX, man they can be made to look and perform SWEET...

Anyways, man Im proud you got a great new bike , and that it was just what you wanted.:jamming::jamming::jamming:

I do have a question however, does anyone know why these VTX werent called Shadow?

I can tell you from experience that a vtx is not a shadow
I have had shadows for over 20 years and had the opportunity
to get a 1800 vtx.
My life is complete, lets just say it in a word
ORGASIM!!!!!!!!!!!

:BEGIN POINTLESS BASH:
Orgasim? Isn't that the virtual sex that they have in "The Sims"? No wonder your wife is always so disappointed, if you can't spell it, how can you give it.

Robert!!!!! Great to see you on this site man!!!!! You need to post some pics of "Bugs" seat and some of the others you have done...These folks will wear you out when they realize what you can do. There are a couple of others here who do custom seats but more optoins is always a good thing.

Cheeseman - Congrats on the VTX dude....i got mine a couple months ago and i am loving it. I switch bikes every couple of days so i can keep some riding time on them both.:grin3:

I found the cafe already. Thnx though.

I won't be riding the SS any longer. It's sitting in my mom's garage until the title gets here because I don't have the room in mine. It's already sold.

Guarantee you will get plenty of work here. I've been looking for someone to do something to my stocker.
