All,
I'm in the process of looking for a new rear tire. I would like some opinions on tires you have had.(Good, Bad, Etc.) Also, a place to purchase tires. Any info will be much appreciated fellas. Have A Wonderful and Merry Xmas!

I'm running Avon Venem X's front and rear. Fantastic tires! Very sticky! Great smoke for burnouts! Corners like it's on rails. I bought them locally from a motorcycle repair shop and got a pretty good deal on them. Just check around.

I looked at the Venoms but they don't have the size I'm running (180/70R15). I could always go back to factory(170/70R15) but i like the wider tire.

You'll get different opinions from people on that. I've never ridden on the Avon Venom's but have a friend that has them on his bike and he hates them. The compound seems to hard and he doesn't get good traction in the rain. Maybe in a warmer climate the compounds work better.
I had the Dunlops that came with the bike and they were fine. But the Metzlers I have on now are far superior. The ride is a lot smoother and they hold the corners well. I know they're sticky, because when I stop there'll be sand or small stones on the tread.
I don't think you'll go wrong choosing either. I'm sure both options are better then the stock tires.

Thanks RustyJake, I'm running Dunlops now and have had no problems. My boss like the Metzelers.......I will more then likely go with the Dunlops.
