Use the search function and look for solo seats. There are some other guys out there that make a nice solo seat. I had a gator, but the bad thing is that it doesn't bolt on. I've heard stories about guys getting them stolen. There's one dude out there, Eric, who makes a great solo seat. I have it now, very nice. I posted his contact info on another thread. He even does custom stitching on the seat. The flames he does are wicked!

Making your own? Brave. I don't have the talent to stretch the leather without it looking like shit. I want to get some custom flame stiching in my seat.

He taught me how to tool leather . I was thinking of a laced ,dyed,and tooled solo kidney killer. I will be working with hard leather and will not need to stretch shit. It will prolly be black w/red lacing and a big red Baphomote[ pentagram w/goats head inside ] and the words SINISTER in old english font . I can do my seat pan at my friends metal shop and drink beer at my other friends garage while doing the leather work . Total cost is materials and a 12 pack .

He's going to be out of town until the new year, so if you don't hear from him for a bit, just wait until after the new year. I'm sending him my seat for the flame stiching after the new year to get done. It's going to look sweeeeeeeeeet!

I'd like to see that when you are done. I wish I knew someone around here and I could do my own, but it aint happening.
