So.....I was thinking about removing the front fender on my Shadow VLX but had a few questions first. Are the mounting holes in the forks REALLY noticeable after dismounting the fender? ( i know what you are going too say...go take it off and see for yourself) I'm just getting some opinions. Also, there is a bracket on my fender that holds the brake line in place. I'm not sure how the other models are set-up, but if they have the same bracket did you fenderless guys do anything to help hold it in place? I would hate to have it break for any reason and not have brakes? Thanks in advance for all your input.

Fender-less looks Bad Ass, Just remember anything that gets picked up by the tire ends up somewhere else. Ride safe!!

Yea, I had forgotten about that until I was talking to my neighbor (longtime harley rider) about it. But, in order to get what you want or to get something to look like you want you have to sacrifice something.

You can either keep that fender bracket mounted (without the fender)or ditch it completely, you shouldn't have any problems with the brakeline or anything else. I rode mine fenderless up front for about 4 months. Does throw a lot of shit into your face if there is a lot of shit on the road! try it out. it's safe:)

Actually the bracket for the brake line is mounted on the fender itself. But i think your right on the brake line being OK. It is rubber and should not break or anything like that due to vibration. I shouldn't have to wrry bout shit getting thrown up in muh face cuz I'm what you call a fair weather rider.

Good luck with no fender if you are ever caught in the rain!

Does removing the fender cause any stabilization problems up front?
