Here they are. They are Hard krome Strippers with a black coating. I also had the crash guards, neck covers, mirror stems, and several other things powdercoated. I like it alot!

Sweet. That is looking good moody, only real down side is.... maybe it is just the photo but those bags look to small for the bike. (Then again I am looking at bikes for my Dad.) With bigger bags and a black tank....I would be asking how much you want for it. LOL :-)

Yea, they are small. Once I decide what I want, Im having my saddle maker buddy do me a seat and sadllebags.

Nice work Nei, but I think vintage military leather was tan most of the time, and sometimes dyed black. The olive drab was normally canvas.

Moody, if I were you, I would get some metal ammo cans and a military olive drab helmet. I am spec ops, so let me know if you want to get a set and i can help you out.

Hello Moody, yes i am a noob and i expect some ribbing from everyone; however, i like to play around with Photoshop so when i saw you were looking for some brown leather for your bags and saddle, i decided to give it a shot. Not quite sure what color brown you are aiming for but i did a color sample of a distressed brown leather saddle on a 2010 CVO Fat Bob. What do you think? If it's not what you had intended, give me an idea of the shade you are shooting for and i'll take another stab at it. Peace!

The military Kevlar is not allowed to be used as a motorcycle helmet on Ft. Bragg nore is the Mitch Helmet (Fighter Pilot / Military Freefall helmet) This is because they are not DOT helmets. AVG makes one that looks kinda like the Mitch.

There are other options if you don't care about the DOT thing.

If you want the real helmet in use today..

If you are going for a time frame look to go with the bike...

Thats a good photoshop job. Im wanting a lighter brown though, kind of like an old saddle
Im goin for the non DOT helmet. im not much of a helmet wearer cause I hate way they feel and look. But the wife ia always bitchin about me not having one, so the kpot replica looks the best to me. She dont know DOT, so she might shut her yapper.

In that case Brother you have a list of options...
This one will go great with the retro era of the bike you got IMO.

It would suck at high speeds.
You are going to have that issue with alot of them unless you go with a pilot style helmet.
The mitch with the right goggles will work great up to 120mph. (I have made freefall jumps with one on.) On the down side... they get to be a literal pain in the neck after 2-3 hours if on a long ride.

Hi Moody, as i promised, here is my next installment of vintage brown leather for your saddle and bags. I sampled a vintage brown leather military mail carrier bag to get the color i used on your saddle. On your bags i found a vintage brown leather military inspired jacket using Google images. I am sampling actual leather so that way if i do hit paydirt and find a color you like i can tell you where i found the image and you can show the person who will be doing your custom work. Hope you like these, if not, no worries, i can whip these out rather quickly once my son goes to bed. Take care, Peace!

In my humble and I do mean humble opinion, I think you should go with a springer seat, luggage rack and saddle bag (hard or soft) and get rid of that wind screen and rear seat. WWII bikes had springer seats of that era. Lemme know if you need help finding one. If you are really looking for the look, i would consider changing your hand grips to something less kick ass.
Also, If you look at the Royal Enfield links below, that should give you an idea of the "ammo can" look as well as the "soft bag" look. I have been kicking around doing this to an old school Naked Goldwing and adding a side car to it.
Now as far as helmets, don't forget about the German look. You could always get one of the German style DOT Helmets, prime it and paint it olive drab....Hell, put a spike on the damn thing and get more attention than you want...I did that to mine and got some serious stares. Imagine a "brother" riding a rat rod crotch rocket with an army green jacket and a German helmet.....little did they know, I was born in Germany.....LOL

My 2 cents.... stay with the American and not the Nazi look.
