The wife and Just got in from a excellent weekend. Started out on Saturday morning heading to Clovis New Mexico for the inaugural Eagle View Bike Rally, Small crowd but a greatbuch of bikers. Alot of Veterans and alot of good stories. Then the next day we headed down to Roswell to do the UFO thing, then over to Lincoln for a little billy the kid action then off to Alamagordo to hang with some friends for the night. This was the wife's first long run and she loved it. The Shadow ran great end to end, her Boulevard ran like new until a half mile from the house when a fuel line decided to rupture and I had to run and get the trailer to get her the rest of the way. I have been here for 10 years, lived in Clovis for 6 whae I was a kid, it was great to see some of the places I ran and see all the change. The world is filled with a lot of ugly, but I was reaffirmed that there is still some wonder and beauty left. Remember the one's who served and the one's who made the ultimate sacrifice. I won't miss this place when I leave, but the people will be with me forever.

I spent 2 years in Las Cruces (late 80's). We lived 1/4 mile from the Rio Grande just north of Cruces in a little town called Hill (CHILI COUNTRY). There is no prettier country. Did you get the chance to make the run to White Sands or run up through the Organ mountains? You must have passed through Ruidoso on the way to Alamogordo. That is some pretty country!!! I sure miss it!

I did the golden aspen run in Ruidoso last summer, so far I have been in three quarters of the state, next is the Gila, silver city and the like.

Sound like a good run, but a trip is only as good as it's pictures. So were the hell are the pictures?
