I haven't seen it yet, but my bet is that it looks a lot better than the picture represents.

I'm still waiting for mine to show up. Chuck had a bunch stolen, of course mine was one of them. I'll get some pictures of it when I'm done. I got an all black background with red flames.

That will look cool. Just remember, when you pull it out of the box, it looks like shit. Once it is installed, it really comes to life.:thumbsup:

They are also having a problem with red coloring, but they are working on it.

What is wierd is that when you turn the bike on - the picture changes color. Looks like a negative photo of the original - actually looks really cool.

I know it sounds wierd. But the colorful graphics on the speedo face plate appear to change when you turn on the bike. The speedo face is illuminated from the backlight in the housing. For some strange reason, it changes the appearance of the speedo graphics.

Now this is really noticeable at night. But when you turn it on, the entire speedo faceplate is illuminated. Almost as if it was seethrough, except the colors are gone, and are replaced with an illuminated black and white FILM NEGATIVE appearance.


It actually looks really cool. You see the one Pegs and I have .... the fire breathing dreagon etc. The Negative Film appearance brings out all the detail. Turn the bike off and the reds and yellows etc all return.

It could be because speedo is saturated with Reds and Yellow and the backlight cancels these colors out. In any case it looks really cool.

Mine is just plain black with one color for the flame. Hopefully it's still red with the light behind it.

During the bright daylight it looks pretty normal. Only at night does it take on an eeirie appearance - that on its own is pretty cool.
