Not that I am one for safe and sane when it is time to play hard but in this case I would err on the side of caution. The price of a DUI is expensive but not when you compare it to being injured or killed due to a cagers indiscretion. When meat and metal clash, metal always wins. JMHO

In our riding group, there is no drinking until after we're done riding for the day and the bikes are sitting for the night. All is takes is just a few seconds and your wife could be widow.

So, Max, put your big boy pants on and stop after 1 beer if you must drink while riding.

Nobody likes beer more than I do, nobody,,,,,nooooooo body. But when I'm riding, I don't drink any. Ice tea, water or pop. I go on poker runs and event rides. Every bar we stop at always have water, ice tea or pop. Usually for free. I've left poker runs part way through, cuz some of the riders were (in my opinion) gettting wasted, I didn't want to be in that pack if someone went down.

Unfortunately I don't practice as much restraint on 4 wheels, stupid. I should have the same respect for that machine as I do my scoot.

i totally agree 1 or 2 tops me and my buddy a little earlier this year had a few and went to go home feeling fine and we flipped his car twice thankfully we were able to climb out of the car unhurt but man thats some shit i can only imagine what it would have been like on a bike

Unfortunately I saw the opposite happen on what was supposed to be a fun night out with friends... some of the guys had a few, but one of our friends had a few extras and against our better judgement we let him argue us into letting him "just head home"... he clipped a stopped car at a red light, about 2 miles from his house, and he never woke up. There is no drink tasty enough to get in trouble or loose friends over for me.
