I just gotta figure out how to add a few more pages. And once I get my stock built back up, put pictures of the actual pens for sale. People like to see exactly what they're getting.

Couldn't have done it without you, thanks

I still have to make a shitload of kits I have here. That way the actual pen will be represented in the pics. I'm getting ready to work on a sweet piece of juniper in the next day or so.

It'll get better when I get more familiar with the program. I want to add a couple pages, but can't figure out how. I thought a customer testimonial page would be good.

Thanks for all the help Rob. I noticed that you have many different styles of wood . However you make no mention [that I saw] as to what they may be and how much that would cost, i.e burl walnut , juniper , olive tree . From a customer stand point , I always like to know all the prices and options .

Your stuff went out yesterday. Sorry but the chestnut pen gave me fits. There was a lot of filling and sanding of the wormholes involved. You'll see it near the pocket clip. Anyhow, you should have them Thurs at the latest. And ther is a little thank you in the bottom of the box under the bubble wrap.:)

The color charts have been added.

If my motivation is higher after dinner I'm gonna start adding some of the other pen styles.

Anyone who ordered one in the past. Let me know what you think, I'm trying to put together a testimonial page to replace the feedback page on the site. I actually had to cut and paste my EBAY feedback from Nok from a year ago.

Here's two that I've ordered. Just thought I'd throw these out to get a reaction.

I've also (maybe) hooked up with a laser engraver. I'm gonna let him play around with some stuff in the next couple of weeks.

You know you can set up Paypal like I have it on the main page here. When you do it the way I did it also accepts all major credit cards. It's free and I think it's under "Merchant Tools" "Website payments standard" They generate the code for the buttun and you just paste it into your home page, and if they don't have a PayPal account it tells them to "Click Here" and asks for credit card info. It's like having a merchant account without the montly fee.

AirportFF

So it would be a separate account from my personal one. I thought I had the logo working to go to paypal. At least it worked for me.

Also while I have your ear, how can I change the button on the top of the page that says feedback to testimonials? And how do I change the titles on the TOC to descripe what's actually on the page?

The link works, but shadowriders link enter's "sales@shadowriders.net" for them and asks if they don't have PayPal to click a button and goes to a credit card screen. It's just something you can add to your account I think.

Close Frontpage and let me try to make a button to see how it works.

It looks like the easy way to do it in frontpage is a "Link Bar" it let me pick a button style and put as many links as I want and name them. Click "Insert", "Web Component", "Link Bar", "Bar With Custom Links" and it walks you through the name of the button to the link it goes to. And you can edit it later on to make changes. The name of each page is under page properties. Right Click on the page.

It could be a number of conditions that can cause blurry vision - but astigmatism is the least likely. I assume you have contacts or eyeglasses to correct the astigmatism.

One common cause is high blood sugar. Maybe you should check that out first. If you know anyone who is diabetic, have them check your sugar level the next time you experience blurry vision. It could be a borderline case.

I believe that astigmatism can be fixed with a daily dose of TBTL..... Clint can help you with that!

There are a couple of suggestions that may be worth noting. These are not mine per se, but what I have learned from professional web designers in the past.

Stay away from font colors that are difficult to read - like the red.

Your home page features 2 styles of Font. The Mission Statement or Intro Font clashes with the rest of the page. Keep with a font style that is very close or same as the rest of the page. Each page can differ in font style, but they recommend not mixing font styles on the same page. Don't ask me why, but I have been told this more than once.

Aside from that it is very well done and tasteful.

I will see if I can find the time to get you your testimonial today. They are very nice pens.

The deer antler is tough on the tools, the same with Corian and Bufflo horn. The most frustrating part is when you get it all turned down to the final size, then I go to take that one last pass with the chisel, and POOF the blank blows apart on the lathe. Some can be salvaged with thin super glue. But most are trashed.

I have a beautiful buffalo horn pen that I did almost two years ago. I don't use it since it was for sale. But I was looking at it the other day and noticed a bunch of small hairline cracks in it. So now it will have to be disassembled and filled and sanded.

Another problem is that a lot of the wood I get isn't completely dry (10% moisture content). So I have a ton of beautiful EXPENSIVE wood that I can't use until it is. Probably take at least 6-12 months for it to dry right. In the meantime I'm making no money on it.

I've noticed that when I'm using frontpage and select a font, it shows up on the editor, but doesn't show up on all computer that way. My laptop shows all the fonts I had selected but here at work it doesn't. Menace said that's because all computers may not have that font so it goes to the frontpage default for that person.

I'll swap the font styles around over the weekend and change that color. I do agree with you on the hard to see part.

Susan found a couple typos too that need to get fixed. I don't want people thinking that Sinister or Razor did it......:freak:

I changed the fonts and colors to make it more in tune with the background. And hopefully easier on the eyes. Let me know how that is, it's kinda hard to judge on a laptop screen.
