Tough crowd, or lazy like me.....I haven't ventured into the garage for a while. Nice work on the bike. The rims turned out nice. You aren't getting too much spray without the front fender? I ran without mine while it was being painted and found it threw all kinds of crap up at me.

I'm with Rusty, I'm just lazy. I never think to check there and see if there are any new pics. Bike looks sweet though.

2300 bucks on wheels ? And you still have a drum brake on the back ? I went the same route, I had no interest in going to a disc in the back. If you did, you could pick up rims a lot cheaper, as those are mass produced. Plus, I couldn't find anyone to do what I wanted done.

Thank You for all the complements! I'll stop wining now!

I don't mind it, especially on the custom rim. It doesn't look out of place at all. I do like the look of the disc brake, but it wasn't a driving factor for me.

I did not know I could have gone another route. I purchased the wheels & tires together for a whopping $2,710.00 and if I would have known, cheaper would have been better. My daughter works at a Harley Dealership and brought the bike there to tune it up. She called me later in the day and told me "Harley" customers were waking up and telling her how nice the bike was and some asking if it was a Harley... she told them "it's a Honda" and they could not believe it! I credit the look of the bike with the billet wheels.

Total cost for a set of CBR wheels fitted on a Spirit with tires and rear disc brake.....less than $700

$700... that makes me feel better.

I like spokes . I just wish I had a disk brake in the back . The powder coat place down the street from me says they will do my rims for 40 bucks each .

Some of us prefer speed over the v twin. Believe me the ss750 is a nice bike, but compared to the power of the Magna....no contest. uh and oh yea we have one of each

I had almost thought you relinquished it and handed it over to Mr.Sinister. I'm sure there's a recent post by him instructing of the virtues of using the search. One of your students?
