I was just hoping to find a used one before so wouldn't have to pay full price. I know as soon as I buy one from Scootwerks about 10 of them will show up for sale used.:crying:

I bought mine used from somone on this site . The powder coating was not that good [ peeled away in a few places ] but not horrible . It was a good price . I was suprised to find out how much lower my bike felt after .

Do you ever hit a hard bump and hit the tire or do the shocks still hold it up good?

Only when riding 2 up . It might have been my pipes tho . The set I got from burbs sit real low . I could scrape them before the lowering kit with sharp right hand turns . The lowering kit just made it a whole lot easier . Me 210 my passenger 105 so about 315lbs .

AARON,
I have a 2.5" kit I would sell you. I bought it used from a guy and never used it. Some minor wear on the PC like sinister mentioned and the one side of the kit (there are 2 pieces or sides to it) looks slightly bent, but I believe that is for clearance purposes. I would assume this is how it is supposed to be but am not certain. I did put it on the bike and it sat how it should against the swingarm. I'll let it go for 50 shipped. lemme know.

Has anyone's rear tire ever hit the fender when riding 2 up with the scootworks 2.5 lowering kit? I have the stock exhaust. I weigh 170 and my passanger weighs 120..so 290 all together.
