View Full Version : Shadows Snubbed by Metric Build-Off

Gang,

As many of you may know, there's a new TV show being started up called the Metric Revolution. It's a Biker Build-Off type show for metric cruisers. You can see more at www.metrictv.com.

They just announced the builders. Some are fantastic - like Jaxon from WildCard. Some have never built a metric bike and one has never built any bike. Worst yet, Shawn Henderson from Highlander Custom Cycles - one of the ONLY true Honda custom shops for Sabre and VTX, got snubbed and didn't get on the show.

This is kind of a slam to me as a Sabre guy for a couple reasons:

1. Half the builders on there are HD builders who couldn't make it into the HD build-offs so they're using metrics as a Busch League alternative.

2. Out of all the builders in there, only 2 of them really work on stock frame Honda's (yes, Jaxon is one of them).

Let's flex some ShadowRiders muscle and tell the producers this is crap! Write to producer@metricTV.com and tell them you want Shawn Henderson from Highlander Custom Cycles on the show!

Without Shawn Henderson (Highland Custom) in your build off it is nothing but chaff from the HD build offs. Come on guys if you're going to do show that focuses on the value and versatility of the Anti HD side of cursers then you need to select from the best of those involved in the industry. NOT the worse of what is left over from HD side of custom bikes.

When new reached the Shadow Riders forum on the web, the reaction was profound.

Dear Sir's Shawn Henderson & Highlander Custom Cycles &, Jason Conley & Coyote Customs Should Be in this Show Not Guys who's Submission Pictures were of Harley's they Built!!! Com'on Guys this is the Metric Revolution not the Re-Hashed Harley Build-Off
