I went looking for a forum less HD specific because in two weeks I pick up my 2001 Shadow ACE and I thought I could gain a lot from listening to others that ride the same.

Little about myself:
I'm 49 (Wowsa I'm getting up there!). The name is Ken. I live in central Alabama. I've wanted cruser for the over 30 years and have had about everything under the sun jump in front of the line. Been on and off smaller bikes all my life and this Shadow ACE is more than likely a stepping stone to a heavier bike somewhere down the road. Right now it seems like the perfect 'next step' in my dream.

I"m a technical person (computer world) so I love the in's and out's of most anything. I can't offer a lot right now to the rest of ya on bikes, that will likely change as experiences build one on another. Life, well, it is what you make it. And this is one goal that I"m seeing though. Hope to find some others that are good for the ride too.

Way back when.There was this hugh watering hole where all the dogs would go
and drink and bath themselves.Well before they could get into the water they
had to take out their ass holes and hang them on a near by tree, so that they dont get wet.Anyway all the dogs were in the water bathing and having fun
when all of a sudden i big gust of wind came by and blew all the ass holes
off the tree. Well the dogs in a panic ,went and picked up any ass hole they could
find so that they would not be left without one. Till this day every dog is still looking
for his own asshole.AND THAT IS WHY ALL DOGS GO AROUND SNIFFING EACHOTHERS
