Okay...I did so a search, but didn't find an answer. I have a 2003 ACE750 that's pretty much stock. Maybe it's a noob-ette thing, but I'd really like to be able to have some bend in my arms and not be stretched out when I'm riding. So, I'm thinking about pullback risers as an easy solution. I found an old post about "Chenzohs" risers, but I can't find them on the net...it looks like they might not be available anymore. So, question one...can anyone recommend a brand of pullback riser (nothing to radical, and hopefully something available in Canada or from a US company where I won't getted totally boned on brokerage fees), and two...should riser alone help or should I be looking at another change as well? Oh great experienced Shadowriders, please share your wisdom. (Is that sufficient sucking up?)

hey OrangeBeast, we have the exact same bike! I found some risers at one time, I'll try to find them again for you. I decided to swap out the bars completely, but first I have to find the right seat and see where that puts me on the bike. I can't decide which way I want to go on the seat.

Mine is pretty much stock, too, except for V&H pipes and a beat up front fender from an accident...

well that wasn't too hard. I was going to go with the PhatRisers from Scootworks, here:

Thanks for the ideas! That gives me some good choices.

Lynne...I had to check out your gallery. And I'll have to update mine and take some new photos. I keep adding little chrome bits, like to the left side of the frame, over the carb, the lid for the coolant, the front caliper... And I just love her. It's such an eye catching bike, and I get a chuckle when I see a guy checking it out and I walk up...they don't seem to expect a female rider. How do you like your pipes?

I love my pipes! They have a nice, deep rumble and they look good. I really haven't done anything much to my bike yet, but I keep threatening. I took off the passenger pillion and am looking for a different, sleeker seat. I'm tempted to get a driver backrest, but i love the clean look of a solo bike. I would like to ditch the saddle bags but I need to carry stuff sometimes so I'm debating strapping stuff to the fender rack or keeping the bags and making them removable. I also took off the windshield and so far really like riding without. I am going to add highway bars, though, as much as I am not a fan of how they look. I had an accident last Fall (mini van driving whore nearly ran me over) and I'd like to have them to protect the bike a bit more than my little leg can do. :pissed:

We have GORGEOUS bikes, but be careful on this site - these guys will have you itching to change yours up completely. :laugh4:

I bought the Klicbag saddlebags http://www.klicbag.com/ so that I can lock them on, or remove them altogether. I like the look of a clean bike too, but I also like to use my bike to run errands and I like the space to stash stuff. I don't like the kind that lay over the fender because I'm worried something will get underneath it and scratch that beautiful orange paint, and I don't like the look of the regular supports. The Klicbag supports are a little less obvious.
I got a Memphis Shade with the trigger mounts so it's easy to pop off and put back on. When I bought mine last summer it came with the engine guards with the highway pegs, a chrome rad cover, cheap looking bags, a windshield that was too tall for me, and the visors for the headlight and turn signals. I did add a light bar which I love...you can sort of see it on my avatar. I'd love to spring for pipes but they seem pretty expensive. I think I need to concentrate on comfort issues before I dress it up. That's why I'm thinking pretty seriously about risers.

Hey there 750SpirtRdr...I saw the photos of the risers behind the seat. (This noob-ette is learning how to find things on the forum.) Can you give some info about how much higher they are than the stock risers and how much pullback they'll give. Also, can I use the stock cables as is or rerouted or would they require new cables?

Thanks!
