Just installed a Cobra light bar on an Aero 750. Hooking up be those fantastic Cobra instructions the lights only come on on high beam. This is using the auxillary plug located in the headlight. There is a positon on the plug where the lights will stay on no matter if you have high or low selected. Is it ok to just tie into the low beam wire or would this put too much on the system? Should I hook up a relay? Thanks for any suggestions.

fan,
While I'm no electrical expert, I believe you would be better off installing a relay to operate the spots. The switches on these bikes are fairly light duty, and after awhile you'd probably burn up the high beam switch running directly through that circuit. From what I've read on the forums, most folks opt for a relay when wiring spotlights.

Thanks for the advice. I was kind of thinking that was the best to go. Once again I appreciate the help.
