Empty out your PM box, or least get rid of some of that older stuff so I can send you a new PM that I spent a whole fucking hour composing.........and now have to spend another hour remembering what I just lost cause your PM box was full....the gist of it was that I sent you an E-Mail through your web site with 5 attachments so you can do the proto type on your new product line. I'll give you a clue.....it's so simple it's funny. I have to wait for SS to do his end and then get it to find out if the mod idea will work, no reason it won't, just have to wait to find out., if so it opens the door for SS's LED 's in a few more applications........

LED/Billski Mod....real simple, I took the mini 1157 socket out of the back of the cateye and ran a strip of SS Riders LED's around the front edge of the cateye housing, Tada, my LED Billski.........seems to me that if you have a nice edison based fixture that you like and really like it but want to go LED yet keep the fixture itself, this is the route to go. way cheaper than buying an LED fixture.My 02.

McV. Very cool indeed. Quick dumb question. The LED strip you got. Seeing as how the catseye lens is red, did you go with white LED's or red ones? It looks like you did the white ones which is cool cause not only would they be brighter but it looks like they shine down through the clear little window towards the license plate nicely as well. Lighting up the plate good.

We used the white ones. They are brighter than reds. After this succesful test I am going to add it as on option on the website if people are interested. Thanks to McVierh for coming up with the idea and testing it out.:thumbsup:

Ahhh man, I've wanted SS Riders LED's since the first time I saw what he'd done with them as rear run/brake, but I also wanted the Billski cateye., now I have the best of both worlds and the clear LED string inside that Billski is way, way brighter at night than the bulb ever was. I am really pleased with the outcome, and if it wasn't for SS Rider making the LED's so affordable it would never have happened.
